7pm dinner... 2 burritos w/ketchup, taco sauce, and cheese on top! mmm yummy. its ok, because I checked all the nutrition info and added it up before i ate it, and it wasnt that bad! hehee! Next time though, depending how hungry I am I think I'd either do just one burrito and cheese, or two burritos and skip the cheese. I was full after the first one but it was yummy so I ate the second one too. :) hah! i say its okay, because i balanced it out with water to drink. lol.

Humm... not TOO bad day. the almonds and burritos/cheese kinda screwed me over on the fat content, but its still fairly low so no big. i think under 30 is the goal and around 20 is preferred (taken from government standards). My fat content is usually under 30%. i might add that the serving size of those dumb almonds is 28.. i intentionally only ate exactly 14 so it would be easier to figure out the nutrition content. haha. i know nuts were high in fat but i was still surprised to see 85 cals...with 70 from fat. crap. Of course these are some special roasted seasoned onion garlic maui something or other almonds, so that is likely part of it. either way, i only eat them a couple times a week, and if i remember correctly, the fat in them is monounsaturated which is the good kind anyway. in my opinion the real culprit was the cheese... it was 110 cals with 80 from fat, didnt add much nutritionally, and didnt add much taste-wise. It just made the burritos look prettier. But if I had skipped the cheese.. *does some quick math*.. my percent from fat would have been 29%, which is under the acceptable amount.

just for fun. and your educational pleasure.

I did some walking during lunch today though. The past three days I've been able to do a little bit. Its just a tiny bit, one because I'm lazy and two because my legs start hurting quickly, but at least its something. Tuesday I took my dog to the park for a little over half an hour.. walked steadily for about 15 mins of that time around the trail, and then stood around/walked casually around for 20 mins or so while he ran around and played. Then Wednesday I walked him.. just 10 mins around the block, but better then nothing, which is what i have been doing lately because my legs hurt so much, AND because the stupid rain wouldnt stop, and my dog wont walk in the rain. Then today I walked about 15 mins during lunch. Again I know its not a lot, but after about 5 mins my legs start aching, and I dont want to risk further injury to them at this point. My goal is to do at least 10 mins and shoot for 15, because what I usually see is that 10 mins is the minimum you need (at one time) to make any difference in your health. I have new sneakers that I leave at work now for this purpose.. I'm planning to try and walk 15-20 mins during my lunch hour each day, depending how much time i have, how the weather is, and how my legs feel. I dont feel the need to beat myself up if I'm feeling lazy once in awhile. I know that as soon as my legs are taken care of (uh 6 months from now?) I'll be able to do much more then I can now and get in actually good shape. I'm not overweight now so its not really a big problem, I just know I should try to stay active and try to keep my leg muscles working, without overworking them. I'm also trying to lift weights every other day or so simply because that DOESNT hurt my legs heh. The only problem there is I dont really know um.. how to lift weights hehe.. so I just do dorky things that I either make up or see online. Either way I'm sure its not the best routine but.. i dont know, again at least its something.

thats all out of me for now. =P
